Dr. F. Richard (Ric) Hauer
Dr. F. Richard Hauer, is Professor Emeritus at the University of Montana, where he taught stream ecology for over 35 years and held the Stream Ecology endowed chair for 18 years until his retirement in 2018. He is Founding Director of the University of Montana’s intercollegiate graduate program “Systems Ecology” (https://www.cfc.umt.edu/grad/systems-ecology/faculty.php) (2008-2016) and Founding co-Director of the statewide, interuniversity research center “Montana Institute on Ecosystems” (https://montanaioe.org) (2011-2015).
Andrew Hauer
Andrew Hauer, is a contract profesional at the University of Montana. Since 2010 he has worked as a project manager, communications director, data analyst, database manager, and IT specialist. He has worked on the leadership teams of multiple research and educational centers. The last 5-years he has provided strategic planning, progromatic administration, and analytical leadership at two high visibility research groups. The National Science Foundation (NSF) Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) and the Numerical Terradynamic Simulations Group (NTSG).
